Business in Vancouver published, in issue 859 (April 11-17, 2006) an article on their front page with the title
“Courier drivers hit with severe gas pains”.
I wonder what these courier drivers ate?
Seriously, I’m surprised that BIV would allow such a heading. There must be better ways to describe the courier drives pains due to increasing gas prices.

McDonalds – maximum time allowed March 19, 2006

The other day I noticed a sign at a local McDonalds that said Max. 1 hour Parking.
Inside they had a sign that said “Max 20 minutes seating”. Does that mean they think we’ll need nearly 40 minutes to stand in line for our food??

Heard on the radio today:
Norwegian lady, trying to wash her dishes, suddely find her water taps filled with beer. At the same time the pub downstairs was wondering why ther was water in the beer taps.
